Save Our Streams-
This award-winning watershed outreach and education program has been teaching volunteers how to monitor and restore local waters for more than three decades. Our stream-monitoring techniques are so simple and effective that several states have incorporated them into their water quality programs.
American Wetlands Campaign-
Through community workshops and other tools, we educate the public about wetland ecology and give citizens the knowledge and tools they need to protect wetlands both locally and nationally.
Clean Air Campaign-
Since we helped pass the Clean Air Act in 1972, we have been a leader in cleaning up outdated coal-burning power plants- a major source of smog,acid rain,mercury pollution, and greenhouse gases.
Outdoor Ethics Program-
Through litter cleanups, hunter education, and outreach projects, we instill a conservation ethic into thousands of outdoor enthusiasts each year.
Sustainability Education Program-
By promoting sustainable use of our natural resources, we work to protect America's outdoors from sprawl, over consumption, and unwise development.
